M42 will not start and is killing me slowly...

Hey all, I have spent much more time with M20's than M42's and I am definitely stuck on getting this one running. Here is my list of things checked if anyone can please help with any insight or maybe shed some light on things commonly missed. I tried searching but nothing came up this in depth.

    - fuel pressure is good at the rail (new pump)
    - fuel injectors are pulsing and shooting fuel into the cylinders (new injectors)
    - spark plugs are all firing nice and bright when tested(new plugs)
    - crank and cam sensors ohm out correctly. 1250ish for cam, 580 for crank
    - crank and cam marks line up as they are supposed to for mechanical timing
    - engine is in timing when checking crank mark with two cam marks
    - Compression is 170-180-155-185 so should run fine

Spraying any starting fluid makes barely if any at all change on it trying to come to life. As far as I knew, if you had spark, fuel, air, and compression all at the right times, this thing should start. What am I missing and has anyone seen such a fun example?

Did you somehow switch the cam/crank sensor plugs in the wiring box?

Looking like the rings were toast at the moment! Got a few cycles of trying to start it and then soaking ATF in the cylinders and she is really close to running. Had 2-3 seconds of running without the starter and died again but that is progress! Looks like she gets to sit until Tuesday full of ATF and I'll go from there hopefully with less cylinder leakage. Have a great Memorial day and I'll update soon!
