Anybody have any experience with the single mass conversion clutch kit that they make? Thinking it may be easier then sourcing all the parts for an m20 conversion.

Well I went ahead and purchased it from amazon for 447.00. The bad boy came in today.
I want to turn the flywheel an take a couple pounds off. Looks like there is some meat I can turn off the back. But want to double check with Solidworks too make sure it will be structurally ok. Hopefully I will get time this weekend to borrow a friends lathe and turn that puppie down. -

Just checked the weight. The flywheel by itself is 22 lb. and the pressure plate and disk are 13lb. Coming to a total of 35 lb.
From what I'm reading the oe dual mass is 38lb. total. But I think I will weigh what comes out of the the car just to fact check.
I should hopefully get this in sometime next week. Depending on if I decide to shave some weight off or not.
