Now this is a Solid Motor Mount!!!!

On my search (see my other posting http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/showthread.php?t=269710 ) to an European supplier for solid motor mounts I came
    Across Vibratechnics in the UK

Never heard from this company before but heard positive response on a VW forum I visit once in a while.

Since there was no Motor Mount for the M42 on their website, I emailed and asked if they were willing to make a set for me.
That seems to be no problem. I measured my broken urethane mounts and guess what?

In 2 Days I found these in My mailbox:

This is like a day and night difference with my previous urethane Motor Mounts.

They are almost to beautifull to put on the car....

What do they do better, compared to new, original ones?

They hold the motor more solid. Less flex.

Be sure to reinforce your sub-frame before you install those

Yes, Exactly what dashboardmonkey says, less flex and better throttle response.

My orginal BMW mounts wher worn out last year so I bought "improved" urethane
motormounts. I will post a pic later from my broken urethane motormounts.

@ smashed s4 ; these urethane mounts are from a company called ireland engeneering in the US,
Please note that I crashed my car into a concrete wall and that this is the reason they broke apart.

No it is not my daily driver, it is a (roadlegal) trackday car.

Hope the Vibratechnics Motor Mount hold better with my next crash :p

@dashboardmonkey This is a really good advice which I will follow. Do you know
if there is any European Company sell these reinforcements?

Are you familiar with any ice racers or Team Renan there in your country? If not, let me know and I'll put you in contact with some people there that should have the reinforcements.

Small side note. I understand the mounts broke because of the crash, but the IE mount design has changed quite a bit from the version you had.

vibratechnics has been around a long time; i used their engine mounts on two VWs in the 90s. i beat the living hell out of those cars. good product.

i've got $5 that says OP sees a decrease in NVH going from urethane to these mounts.

for the vorshlag urethane mounts in my car... you're not kidding.

@SkiFree : I found the reinforcements from a US company, thanks for your help anyway.

Yes the Mounts from Ireland engineering broke because of the crash

@smashed s4 : The Mounts are from Ireland Engineering.

@DK; I am aware of that, but since it is a trackday car it doesn't matter a lot.

@pandaboo911: Best is to ask Phil @ VibraTechnics, or check their website:
