Proper OHM Readings for M42 Sensors

Since I bought my car it's had a strange hot-start and hot-death problem. I plan on finally taking care of it once this semester ends by methodically checking every single piece of equipment on my E30.

Is there anywhere I can find the proper OHM readings and/or how to check all the different electric sensors and equipment that affect engine performance?

Search the M42 section for ohm, you should find all you are looking for. If you want to be really nice just compile that data and others will find it later.

I plan on doing a compilation of that data as well as all the common things to check for when the 'ol M42 bogs

The bentley repair manual should spec those sensors. Also check in the back of the book, there is an electrical troubleshoot chart for the DME. It will list all the resistance values for all the sensor at the DME.

Also the ETM manual might have those values as well.
