    M44 in an e30? e21?

How easily does the M44 from later e36's mount onto the e30 subframe?

Just based on simple guessing I would imagine it would be a cinch. Engine arms might be different, but otherwise the fitment should be easy. RealOEM would probably confirm that.

Of course the question would be why M44, unless you want forced induction?

Swap to m42 front sump oil pan; then install. Adapting wiring should be quite easy considering how easy a e36 6 cylinder swap is to handle

Any more thoughts on this? What about fitting one in an e21?

Its no different than what it takes to fit an M42. Use whatever pan the swap uses (e30 front sump/e36 rear sump) and use the E30 manifold if the E36 does not fit.
