    Cam position sensor and idle

Can it affect the idle in anyway? I have haunting idle but no vacuum leaks, new sensors everywhere, tried different ECU's and the only thing missing is the cam position sensor.

Yes it can. Generally causes rough idle. Unsure if these cars will throw a check light if it's bad.

If you aren't getting a check engine light then most likely the cam sensor is 100% working. How is your ignition system? Wires plugs?
