Need help

So i'm trying to fix my cluster here ind i find this plug just hanging there, not sure what its for...

its not original, its spliced into other wires

That looks like one of the plugs that goes to the back of the cluster. Specifically the one behind the fuel gauge IIRC.

thats interesting... because i've taken apart my other clusters and don't remember seeing a plug like this, but i will check it out tomorrow.

not factory at all. why is it coming from somewhere close to the pedal set/ floor?

If its related to the cluster it should be positioned up higher under the dash.

Looks aftermarket, maybe from an alarm system?

Looking at those wires. Alarm plug ^. Those colors also do not match factory wiring. Usually primary color with 2 lines on each side different color.

Idk, i just dropped the knee panel to clean it up and screw it back up, because it was sagging, and this was just hanging there, it is aftermarket, i just don't know what it could possibly be for..
