    M42: under the hood!

I bought the sparco strut bar and had to ghetto rig it with spacers on two of the bolts. Anyone know where I can get a nice strt bar that fits the e30 318 without modification?

Do this, my Sparco bar fit perfect after a few mins with a hammer to dent it for the intake mani.

Wrap it up in some tape to save the finish and wack it with a hammer to dent it where it needs it. Its thin tube, really easy to do. Just make sure you figure out exactly where to dent!

No problem, just use several layers of tape, I think I did 3 of blue painters tape and still got little bits of sand off the floor to punch through and mar the finish very slightly. Keep in mind its easy to test on the car and dent more but hard to un-dent. As the saying goes, measure twice, cut once!
