Rebuilt an M42 Wont Start whats this plug for?

Anyone know what this plug is for? I have nothing to plug into it. Sits above the starter.

1991 M42 rebuilt the motor, low fuel pressure-pump wont turn on. Pump works on a battery test.

-Has Air
-Has Spark
-Low fuel pressure

I can't really tell from the pic which one it is but the connections to the black box are the cam and crank sensor up front and the injector harness iirc. I might be missing one but I can't think right now. The other connectors come from the black box and don't exactly plug into it.

And what do you mean by low pressure pump?

only thing I can think of that kind of sits above the starter is icv. You need a better picture to be sure. your fuel pump wont turn on unless it gets a signal from the crank position sensor. you can jump the fuel pump relay to just test you fuel pressure.

fuel lines switch did nothing. fuel pump works great, pumping at high psi. The fuel pump will not turn on even when jumped. This black plug is right above the starter

Now fuel injector harness, thats a possibility!

Are those 2 metal lines in the pic your fuel lines?

That connector is for the fuel injector harness
