    fuel stabilizer?

would fuel stabilizer cause the engine to gold 1100 rpm steady? no fluctuation noticeable. i just replaced the worm intake boot. my buddy says because theres no fluctuation in idle its the ECU holding up the revs or it will run shitty because of the stabilizer. I cant drive legally until september so i cant take it for a boot to see if it will fix itself. it warms up well but keeps the high idle. thermostat? idle sensor? anything? i dont think it has a vac leak

The ECU has no way of knowing what type of fuel or additives are in there. Chances are that it is a sticky idle control valve. Take it off and shoot some throttle body cleaner through it.
