m42 crankcase torque specs

I'm redoing my gaskets and I can't find the torque specs anywhere. I need to know the toque specs for bolting the crankcase to the block and for the timing chain covers. Thanks in advance

I guess I'm gonna go with 12 ft/lbs for all the bolts does that sounds about right

Depends on the bolt size. According to the BMW Torque Spec manual I have, which I can e-mail to you if you PM me your e-mail, M6 10Nm, M7 15nm, M8 20-22Nm
