4.10 must scream on the highway, because my 3.91 is up there. Or maybe I just drive fast :)
    I don't like the 4.10 on the hwy..I'm at about 3800 @80mph..it blows haha

Then let me introduce you to my friend 4.45...

Despite the high RPM cruising it's a super fun final around town and through stoplights/cones. Then again, I was looking for a 3.73 when I ended up buying the 4.45.

Haha..This would not be ideal for a daily, and I daily mine.

As do I, at least 3 days a week for 12 minutes each way, 12 glorious tach'd out minutes.

I have a 3.73 in mine, and with the turbo it's really good. It also has been about right for all the tracks I've had it on, though I wish 2nd and 3rd were a little closer together. For the autocrosses in my area, I actually wish it was a little longer since I find the limiter more often than I would like. On the street, it's fine. You won't really see an improvement in fuel consumption over the 4.10, at least not in my experience.

This is something I'd really like to test. I know that with a 4.1 my car averaged near 27, and with the 4.45, it's much more like 24. I would wonder where the point of diminishing returns might lie with respect to lower numeric ratios and economy, and what too low actually may be.

I'm not chasing fuel economy..just lower rpms on the hwy
