Need source for upper intake manifold

I have a 91 m42 e30 and one of the longer upper intake manifold studs is broken and I want to replace it but I cannot find a source for it. I need the m7x85 stud, the problem is that its been discontinued and I cannot find it. I was wondering if any of you can help me out with a source for it, thanks.

You mean the lower manifold has a stud broken? Probably the most readily available solution would be getting a new (used) manifold, which should run you all of ~$20, even if you only want it for the stud.

Alternately you could buy threaded rod for ~$15 and cut to fit. Or you could get someone like me with a plethora of manifolds to send you one stud, which would end up ~$15-20 with shipping.

      A meter of M7x1.0 is $11.25 from McMaster.com

BMW still has m7x95 studs. You can use a die and cut some more threads then trim the excess length.

Thanks, but Im trying to find it as cheap as possible because I want to eventually swap the engine to something more fun. The rod idea is pretty good though.
