My getrag 240 has a second gear syncro I have to double clutch in order to down shift. I came across a g250 from a 94 e36 318i. What is needed for the swap? I can already see the input shaft will use a different pilot bearing and output flange has 12mm bolt holes instead of 10mm. Anyone else use the g250 with the m42? What else is needed? Custom drive shaft? I am running a 3.73 lsd and hoping the shorter g250 gears will help me accelerate better in autox. I don't really care about the 1.1 fifth. This is my for fun car.
