The ring between the front and rear exhaust. Can't find it on RealOEM. ECS has it listed as 18 11 1 723 533 and 45mm which is wrong as I have proof....I ordered it....too small. Needs to be ~2.25"

I haven't pulled the exhaust on my 318is so can't confirm but looking at realoem it looks like there is no donut but a flare fitting setup.
BMW did this on the later M30 engines with the downpipes at the exhaust manifold.
However if you really have to have a donut, you should be able to find a generic one at the auto parts store next to the donut shop. The donut that you bought is for the m20 325i exhaust. -
