Hi, I'm thinking to stroke my M42 with JE custom pistons 87mm, M47 Crank and ITB's. But despite this, I would like to Turbo or Supercharger the Engine. What is the best compression ratio to this? Thanks
most of us are @ 8.5 to 1 but there are several options that work. Determining what is best for you should be relative to the goals of the build. Do some searching. Theres a whole thread dedicated to M42 forced induction here with mounds of info.
