    Full Throttle Hesitation between 4-5K?

In advance, thank you for your contributions.

    - When 3/4 to Full-Throttle, my 318is has a hesitation around 4-5K. It pulls strong before and after the second it takes for the ignition to figure out what is going on.

The plug wires were original to the car, so I changed them along with the spark plugs. It needed to be done, so now that this is still occurring I need to look deeper.

    I figure....
    - 02 Sensor
    - Crank position sensor
    - Cam sensor
    - Coil Pack

Can anyone give me advice on what resolved their issue if similar to mine before I start spending money on sensors?

My guess now is crank sensor. The issue is pretty consistent at 4.5K RPM's.

Let me know your thoughts! Thank you,

    No CEL?

If not, it's time to test your cam/crank sensors, your TPS, and possibly the O2 sensor. Could also be any number of other issues from fueling to AFM wear.

      Thank you for your response.

      No CEL,

I have a new O2 sensor, and then go from there. Its likely the crank/cam sensor though. I will try some out when I go to the bmw wrecker near me.
