      e30pq was selling some kits here, see this post. I don't know if he still has any left. I've got his kit installed now and it works great.

        They're not hard to make. It's basically a peice of rectangular 1/8th inch aluminum.

          We have a new batch of COP kits available.

          The kits include top grade hardware (no home improvement store stuff).

          $185 w/coils (shipped in the US)
          Coils are used but tested prior to shipping. One coil is modified to fit in Cylinder 1.

          $80 w/o coils (shipped in the US)

            What has to be modified to fit in cylinder 1? I'm thinking about ordering this kit and using either my own coils or coils off a later model 6. I can get them for free from a friend who owns an import salvage yard. It's nice to have a friend like that!
            -------------------------------------------------
            06 Z4 ///M Roadster (slightly quicker than the e30)
            05 X5 (slightly roomier than the e30)
            91 318is Alpine White (IS the e30)

              Do you have to do any modification to the wiring loom?

                This picture gives you an idea of the modification

                    I assume when you say Coil 1 is tested to fit in 1 that the other three need moification?

                      Coil 1 is the only coil that needs to be modified.

                      All coils are tested to make sure they work properly.

                        As for those asking what has to be done to the #1 coil - just look at the picture that was posted by e30pq - it's quite obvious... The #1 coil's top mounting point is shorter than all others. Other than that slight deviation, the coils are all plug-n-play into the cylinder head & onto the spark plugs. The swap or conversion is quite easy to do, just read the write ups online or the instructions included w/ any of the kits.

                        ~~~
                        on a small other note - hey e30pq, any other pics of that engine bay or engine? Any specs on it or the turbo? :)
                          More info on our car here:
                          We needed to setup a CarDomain page for the GRM Ultimate Track Car Challenge. We got an invitation to the event which was held this last weekend at Buttonwillow. We might get some coverage in one of the up coming issues.
                            hmm so are these m52 coils?
                            I am thinking about getting this setup.
                            So the coils screw to the bracket? and the bracket just pops in the valve cover and sits there right? Or do you have to screw and or bolt bracket to valve over?
                              The bracket does get attached to the valve cover. The kit I got come with all the hardware, which consisted of threaded rods that screw into the valve cover, and then self-locking nuts, washers and spacers to hold the bracket on.
