    Markd eat chip owners feedback

HI i just installed the markd EAT 91 oct chip for my 318iS, and the engine just screams up to 7100, it idols wonderfully, and drives nice too, but im nearly afraid to take it all the way to the limit! can i safely red line the 7100 limit occasionaly on stock engine? sorry if this comes across as a stupid question but im just being cautious

Yes sir you can. Mark would put the limit if a stock engine in good shape couldn't handle it. Make sure you have some good quality oil in too.

my cars loves the mark D chip, the biggest improvement i noticed was the difference in how the car acts at not WOT it seems to cruise up any hill without struggling.

I have the 93 AKI one.

I like it, I take it to redline daily, no problem on my 200K mile motor.

            I really like it.
Under WOT I can pull alot harder than I used to.
Also in 4th and 5th gear, I can totally feel an increase in torque.

Best bang for the buck. Worth every cent paid. Just make sure you use the proper octane gas for the chip you purchase.

I got the same thing, great chip, but I"m curious, does anybody have a dyno chart with this motor and chip? I know stock, peak power is around 6K RPM, but I'd like to know what it is with this chip and see if there is any real reason for the redline to be moved all the way up to 7100.
