Should I just delete my rundown of what driveshafts and trannies work for your application then? Because you'll obviously never need them...

And I suggest you start agreeing with me (and most of the other members on this board) a lot more because we've been doing this shit a long time...

This subject has been exhausted and gone over so many times that honestly the 24v thread could be locked and you could still get the job done when needed...

Shit I am going to get flamed for providing that, oh well!

1500 is no where near enough to do it properly.

waaaaaait a minute!!!! is this Mr.WatsonSilver????

$1500 youre lucky to swap a non vanos m50. you need to triple your budget at the minimum to get any kind of motor that starts with S. i spent close to $4000 just swapping a m52 in, and i didnt even get into the motor.

i know, but 1500 SHOULD be enough for parts and extra shit.

i expect to pay around 4-5 thousand total for the swap.

I don't understand this, you claimed to have done an m52 swap. Either way (obd1 or 2) you have already performed this swap. The only difference to the entire thing is the internals. You do what you did the last time, but you use a block with a different guts.

You must high if you think 1500 will cover it.

Same here, I never posted a single question about swapping in the big block, and I completed it working two Saturdays in a row. My 70k S52 conversion cost me $3500 (but good luck pulling that off being an outsider to the automotive industry!).

Fidhle, you dont charge enough. :)
