I will be changing the diff and fixing a leak from rear of the gearbox. Since it involves both ends coming off may as well remove the driveshaft i think (i could do one end at a time but will check the centre support bearing to )
Is there any special markings i need to make or procedure to reinstall in the same place and retain balance? Given the diff and gearbox output flange both will be removed I'm thinking not unless i need to separate the driveshaft into two (2) for the centre support bearing and the required preload.
i don't plan on replacing the driveshaft.
