I'm in the market for a trans and someone just offered me a 260 that clean enough to eat off of but like I sai its a 260 my car takes a 240. Is it a direct bolt on? is it even possible?

your 240 is shorter and you bell housing is shorter. So yes it will bolt right on to the motor, you could run the larger m30 clutch but you will have to find a shorter driveshaft with a large guibo -
so if I just use the stock m20 clutch will I still need another driveshaft?Comment
