    i flywheel e tranny

I'm going to be putting an i flywheel on a 2.7i, with the transmission that came with an e. I would use an i clutch kit with this setup behind an m20, correct?

Have you made a purchase from www.blunttech.com recently?

correct. The eta has a dual mass flywheel IIRC so if you get rid of that youll be golden. my buddy used an eta flywheel on his i motor so I am sure they are interchangable the other way around.
Need a performance chip for you BMW? Shoot me a PM and I'll get you taken care of!!

Clutch has to match the flywheel, eta tranny will work fine with the i clutch/fw.

Because his i motor was an auto when he did the swap to 5 speed and the tranny/clutch/flywheel setup he had was from his old eta. So rather than usuing the dual mass auto flywheel, he used the eta flywheel because it went with the tranny.

Auto tranny = no flywheel :p flex plate and torque converter replace it. But I get it.
