    weird clunks?

I have 1990 320i manual with 200.000km on the clock...
my problem is rear end clunk when clutch is depressed quicky mostly when going very slow or in reverse also there is some vibrations when going 30-50mph then it goes away...
some of you said before that some u-joint is kinda big problem on these car so maybe mine is fooked?
Is this part repairable or used driveshaft I need to find

The drive shaft is one possibility, but motor, transmission, and differential mounts, sub frame and rear trailing arm bushings, and half shafts are also possibilities. A full inspection should reveal what the culprits are.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

sounds like the rear u-joint. jack up the rear end of the car put it in drive and spin one tire back and forth and if you hear the clunking/rattleing its the u-joint. some shops can replace the u-joints but i think its easier to get a rebuilt driveshaft or one from a junkyard thats in good shape.
