    auto to manual

    i was wondering can you swap out the auto trans in a 325i to a manual? or is it to much work or will it not work at all please help out thanks

          It's not too complicated. I did mine over two days, total time of around 12 hours.

          I swapped out transmissions a week later and did it in 4.5 hours.

          Just search around and you'll find all the answers you need. The little tricky things are bypassing the park/neutral interlock (there is a diagram just search) and enabling the cruise control again if you so desire. Just know that if you want to use cruise control again, you'll need to install a pedal cluster that has the clutch switch on it. Mine came out of an e34 528e.
