    Output Flanges?

I have an 86 transmission and a manual drive shaft from an '86' but the output flange on my trans is smaller than my drive shaft.

the output flange on the trans is the bigger one with the studs attached to it, not the smaller one like the 1990 car

that being said the output flange is still smaller than the drive shaft.

    any thoughts?

I know that guibo sizes differ with early models so perhaps its that?

interesting -- I bet the Guibo has different measurements on each set of 3 holes.

      I must just be thick.

I just did this. swap flanges and keep your old guibo so you don't need a new driveshaft.
