    repair lsd question

so i finally got to tear down the busted lsdi bought from an asshole in socale30 named bearsthename, and e30bear here on r3v its a small case 4.10 "lsd"..i took it to a shop to get it checked and they told me this diff must have been driven super hard or drifted with for a long time in order to brake it and damage it this much....so as you can see its been like that for a while..just decided to open it up and see what was wrong....question does an open diff have the same bearings?
well heres some pictures of the tear down...also found tons of pieces in there....is this worth repairing...odviously repair by me...cant be that hard...
on to the pictures, would this be fixable???

this is the broken part its suppose to be one piece...

Just recycle it and look for another one. Even if you only replace the bearings in a diff it still has to be completely set up again for proper gear lash. And you've got wasted internals on top of that.

true, since i daily my car..my open diff is probably on its last few k miles....i am going to further take it apart and asses the damage...as long as if the diff lasts a few more thousand miles i douldnt mind hahah

That sucks. Did you ever install it? How did that poor thing act if you did?
