    Getrag 260 Shroud

I don't have one. I mounted the tranny to the M50 and there are opening on both sides, where you can see the flywheel.

    Is this bad?

I know there is supposed to be a shroud / dust shield (don't know how it is called).

Also, where can I buy one? I've been searching online and cant find them. Part # would be much appreciated, I can't even find it on realoem.com

Yes that's it, and you need it. It also acts as a shim.

Thanks for all the help Dave!

ok so the E30 325i plate is 11141280826 and the M50 motor uses 11141734019. I am using a getrag 260.

What is the difference? Which one do I use? If they both work, I rather use 11141734019 because it isn't a special order part from pelican, unlike the other.

You need the M50 one, as it follows the contour of the back of that engine. The trans will still bolt up either way.

Great, I see that the M50 one is the same as the E30 m42s. Link. I think I have a friend that has one laying around.

                Thank you for your help!
