    diff question..

    my car sits at 2.5k doing 60.. what differential do i have?

    Assuming it hasn't been swapped, go to realoem.com, plug in the last 7 or the car's VIN and see what it should have.

            its a 89 325i with a 5spd
            would it be an lsd? or more than likely not?

              That car should have a 3.73LSD. There should be a tag on the right rear of the differential with ration and an S for limited slip.

                yeah i noticed that i put 2k instead of 3k @ 60. my bad.
                so what's the ideal rearend?
