thin cover takes 3-4 clutch discs without machining

thin one is 3.15-4.45+
thick one is 2.79-3.07
the overall is same, bearing is sunk on 2.79-3.07 LSD

Thanks, maybe you can elaborate on the early vs late 188mm diffs?
Are all 3.15-4.45 available in EARLY and LATE style?
this specifically -
"IF you are thinking about doing a clutch pack +1 or +2 upgrade, think again - its not as easy as it is with a 3.15-4.45++ high ratio LSD unit."

I don't know what you're talking about, LSDs work by way of witchcraft and unicorns!
but thanks for trying to explain :)
