    Where to buy half shafts

Well I had ordered these from NAPA Online Friday night, and I got a suprise email this morning saying they didn't have them and wouldn't have them. So- I am back to square one.

Is there anywhere else I can get these? Its either that or figure out how to replace all my boots and grease everything, while also somehow checking to be sure they aren't damaged after having been torn open for a least a couple months.

BMA appears to carry them, but for around $230 EACH. I was doing the NAPA thing because they were only about $80 each. HELP!

      Manual-
I didn't realize they were different from an Auto. They come out of the diff, which I assumed was the same for both.

Wait a minute here... this cannot possibly be true, can it?

        Claims $43 per axle? Seriously?

Before you buy new half shafts, cup open the torn boots and see ig the CV joint is still full of grease. If it is, there is a good chance that all you need do is to replace the boots and re-pack the joints with grease. I only use the OE boot kits as I haven't found any aftermarket boot kits that don't rub on the shocks.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Well I bought them- they aren't as cheap as they claim. They are one of those places that puts stuff up for $40 and then charges $100 to ship it. So it isn't as exciting, but it is still way WAY better then me trying to rebuild my existing axles right now.

Oh, and they said they had 2 left, and I bought 2.

Quick FYI about the GSP axles

                  THEY FUCKING SUCK DONKEY BALLS!!!

Yes they are cheap as fuck but good god they suck.

Now with that out of my system I will briefly explain why. I did a bunch of work on my buddies nissan maxima, granted it is front wheel drive, after everything was done I got in the car and went on a test drive, first off good lord was there a SHIT ton of torque steer that was not there with the OEM axles installed. The fitment of the axles was not exact they fit but with some "negotiating". Finally after 3 months the boots were already starting to show signs of cracking.

Just my two cents on GSP Axles. As I said this experience was on a FWD Nissan on our RWD BMW's I have no opinion but I will most certainly never install them on one of my cars
