          For cruisin' around, Z4 3.0 > all.

Just remove the harmonic balancer on your driveshaft (or buy a 4 pot).

i dont care bout this crusing around and all that shit i just want a simple fit. something that i can just pop in bushings and all without having to bend it or change no harmonic balancer just a direct fit that sits straight and not slanted right or left.
              I go wuaaaaaahh pssssshhhhh!!!!

There should be another PNW midnight tranny swap to help you out cause your car deserves better than a slushbox. I guess we wouldn't have to do it at midnight, but you get the point.

Yes, the Z3 1.9 lever comes with the bend like the stock shift lever, so it sits in the proper place. It is also not as long as the other shift levers below the pivot ball so it will be the least likey to hit the driveshaft.

If you want the lever with the most straight forward swap that requires the least modification, that would be the Z3 1.9 lever.

Any M3 guys want to comment? I have heard of the X5 3.0l to be a good fit on the M3s.

Ok, now I want the bets of both worlds...seeing as we don't get any SSK here, for the E30.

I've been checking out the Z4 3.0lt, I quite like the throw of it, nice and short, but the lever it's self is far too short for my liking, I would be really happy if there was one with that throw, and around the same height as the stock lever.... I guess I'm asking too much :(
