Differential output shaft size difference, HELP!

So I received my S2.93 differential from blatant last weekend and I have it all bolted up to my 1985 325e. When I started bolting up the half shafts I realized my flanges were way smaller than the flanges on the S2.93. Is this because the S2.93 is from a late model with ABS? Can I simply change the output flanges with my old ones? or should I buy new half shafts to match up with the diff? Any help here would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like the diff he sold you has the wrong flanges?!

You can swap yours in to it, they just pop out of the diff with a screwdriver or prybar.

do I need to remove the 6 bolts on the side of the diff behind the flanges before I pry them off?
