    ebay short shifter was awesome?

drove someones car the other day that had an ebay short shifter on it, one that was AWEOME! i mean the throw was the shortest i'd ever felt, ive had a z3 1.9, the m3 one, and the UUC, this was better than all of them!

it was knotchy and SOOO SOO tight.

anyway he didn't install it so he doesn't know which one it is, we looked at it and it looks normal, so curious if anyone knows anything.

looked on ebay, few different ones up there, all around 30-40, seems right.

I installed one in my car during the M50 swap.

I used one that looked like this:

I paid $22 shipped, and it came in 3 days.

It overall worked pretty well. The lower nylon bushings were a couple sizes too small, and needed to be drilled out to fit the selector rod. Other than that, it works very well. It is super short! I plan on getting a shift knob that is a bit taller to reduce the effort.

I just took a little video while I was in the garage.

Paid 34 shipped for mine, well worth the money. Fitment was good and it feels great.
