Auto 325e with no guibo

    Auto 325e with no guibo

    Is this standard or older e30s? the output shaft out of the automatic gearbox looks like the differential input flange (4 bolt), no guibo in the driveshaft. First time I've ever seen this.

    All-Red/MHW style Professional Tinted Tail lights
    PnP EMS, fuel injectors, wideband o2 systems

        Yeah, manual and auto etas had a weird-looking substitute for a guibo...

        It's weird because RealOEM told me that was the case with my car, but I got under and looked and it did in fact have a guibo. Super Etas are weird as f*.

          I don't think there was a set year/model that had this, and not all of the auto cars did. I have seen it on an auto convertible as well.

            think the no guibo ds's were used on auto eta's up to about 10/86 build date. no wierd looking substiture, in place of the quibo is a u-joint. they use a 4 bolt flange and are not interchangeable with other ds's unless output flange on tranny is swapped too.

            my 7/86 build eta auto has this config.
