Go for a junkyard diff cover, or Z3 cover?

Replacing all my rear bushings and I found a crack on my diff cover where the bushing sits. I dont want to risk it and just want to change it. I can get a junkyard one which is cheap, but I was thinking of maybe spending the 350 bones to get the z3 one. Is it worth it?

Define "worth it", what is your intended use of the car etc.? If it's a daily: no. If it's a track car: depends. Opinion my vary by use, wallet size, and or lust.

Even for the "once a month track-day" enthusiast, you will never see the need for a Z3 cover. Those who need a Z3 cover KNOW that they need a Z3 cover.
