Was going to put the I motor from my 89 325I into the the motorless 88 SETA I have in the garage... But the guibo from the 89 was tore up and I was going to use the guibo from the 88 till I realized the bolt holes on the 88 SETA G260 are larger then the ones on the 89 G260...
Can I swap the 88 G260 output shaft onto the 89g260 and use the 88 guibo? Or do I need to put the whole 88 G260 onto the I motor?
I have already chucked the 89 guibo since it was torn up... Are the bolt holes in the 88 driveshaft also larger then the 89 driveshaft?
edit: Apparently 5/86 + 325e's and M3's came with the large hole output shaft, and apprently ETA and M3 driveshafts are the same length?
So I can infact just swap this output shaft in place of the smaller one and be GTG? Can anyone confirm that?
