    diff whine after fluid change?

i have a whine coming from my rear end. it seems to be louder when the car has been warmed up and driven for a bit. it's also dependent on wheel speed, not engine speed. it does not change on acceleration/deceleration.
i changed my fluid recently and it started making the noise after that.

Umm, what did you put in there?

I've had the same thing happen when replacing the old, crusty factory oil with synthetic...

but the diffs then last forever after that, noisy or not...

I used to run royal purple, then I changed to Torco 75/140w, now I have diff noise and will probably go back to Royal Purple.
