What are the holding power / torque for the various Clutch kits that are out there for an M20 with the single-mass flywheel (228 diameter)? I know that the OEM stock parts are "fine" (for most applications) and that Sachs "Sport" is "more", but how much is "fine" and how much is "more"?
So, if anyone knows... what are the torque #s for....
I did a bunch of searching on here, e30tech and google and haven't been able to find the answer, so I figured it was time to ask.
Before anyone asks, no I do not have a highly modified engine; this is for my ChumpCar, and yes, I know the "stock engine, stock clutch is OK' mantra. I would think that a stock setup would be fine, but the car is using up clutches and at least some of the reason appears to be excessive heat, likely caused by slipping. Therefore, I'm looking at a few stock-part options and want to see what is worth it and what could work.

- Stock M3 PP with stock M3 disc (kit p/n 21-21-2-226-854-M38 ):
- Sachs "Sport" PP with stock M3 disc (PP p/n 88-3082-999-618-M410, disc p/n 21-21-2-226-841-BOE):
