    Driveline vibration driving me nuts

    Hey Guys,

Need some help diagnosing some juddering from my driveline. It only happens when I lift off the throttle semi-abruptly, and sounds like there is some movement/shaking coming from the diff or rear part of the driveshaft.

I'm going to throw the car up on jackstands this weekend to see what it could be, but I was hoping to get some pointers on possible problem areas.

Note that I am running a ZF 6 speed with custom trans mounts, and e36M driveshaft, e30 CSB, and Z3 torsen diff. Kind of a frankenstein setup.

Sorry for posting this here, I've posted in the driveline subforum before and got zero hits. Please move if necessary.

    Probably subframe bushings.

center support bearing, if you can grab drive shaft and move up and down. Just remove heat shield and put camera up there to take pics also.

csb, guibo or your driveshaft is bent.
Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.

Subframe bushings should be good, all bushings replaced with urethane in the last year.

CSB/Guibo I will check this weekend. Thanks for the tips.

I would bet the CSB is a bit worn out.

If that is the case, then I will also say CSB and ujoints as others have.
