I'm actually going to vacuum bleed it but that doesn't explain why the SC piston popped out...
Is it normal to be able to shift gears without the clutch pressed in, prior to a successful bleed? I can shift gears without pressing the clutch, currently.
With the engine running? That would suggest a clutch that is stuck in the disengaged position, which would also explain why the slave cylinder rod came out and the weird clutch pedal feel.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

No, not with the engine running. In fact, I haven't ran the engine at all during this bleeding process...
