For what it's worth, after trying a laundry list of fluids, Redline Superlight Shockproof makes the transmission actually shift halfway decently.

I tried that stuff in a transfercase once, it's pretty yucky! :p

unfortunately it may have contributed to a failed seal on the VC.. wouldn't reccomend for ix TC use.
