Which manual transmission fluid in 325ic?

I need to change manual transmission fluid in my 1992 325ic. What type of fluid should I use. My owners manual says SAE 80 so SAE 80W-90 will work?
I am also changing differential fluid with 75W-90. Is that correct fluid?

well let me first say

going back to your previous thread

That your car takes 20 50 not 5 30.

And I recomend 15-50 mobil 1 full synthetic even for a summer only vehicle.

for your transmission you have a green sticker.

for a getrag with 59k miles only I would only use redline mt 90

for the differential use gl5 75w-90

I use shockproof in my cars.
Lightweight for diff
heavy for gearbox

When I first got my m3 the diff whined so I used shockproof 80w-140 and the noises went away. I just use regular mtl in the trans. I'm worried if I go too thick it will be too notchy when cold.

I have Redline MTL in the trans and 75w-90 in the differential.

I dont think he has the same transmission as you two do that take mtl.

He has the later model green sticker that wants 75-90

for the diff I use mobil 1 80-140 but 75-90 is fine.
