    dual masss clutch on single mass flywheel ?

    anybody ever tried this ? the dual mass pressure plate is a lot lighter !! will it works ?

      It will likely chatter pretty badly since it would be a single mass flywheel with a solid hub clutch. I would say bad idea.

        maybe using a sprung clutch disc with the dual mass pressure plate ?

          Oh, they're not that different- it'd probably work just fine.
          If you wanted to do it right, you'd re- step the solid
          flywheel to the same as the dual mass...

          But I hate dropping the trans, so I'm not about to try it.
