After my m60 5 speed swap my clutch pedal is extremely hard. I have a UUC e39 lightweight flywheel with a gripforce clutch. The gripforce clutch uses a LUK pressure plate. I am using an e34 530i slave cylinder with a 22.2 bore. I have found the e34 540i has a slave with a bore of 26.99. This would probably bring my pedal close to stock again.... I am going to order one and compare everything on it and hopefully it will work out.
Very Heavy Clutch Pedal

It would seem to me that a larger bore master would have to move a shorter distance to push the required amount of fluid to actuate the clutch, which would be more effort not less.
My thought would be to move the attachment point of the master push rod higher on the pedal if possible (so closer to the pivot point) which would increase pedal leverage & reduce effort...or go to a smaller bore master.
Does that make sense ?Seat Shocks....I have passed the baton to John Christy from Ninestitch. Email John or Garrett at ninestitch1@gmail.com
