How do I find out what gear ratio I have? Its a 89 325is with a factory LSD option.... Thats all I know.....

If it's 5 speed it has a 3.73 LSD. If it's automatic it has a 4.10 LSD.
There is also a tag on the diff showing the ratio. -

You can do a vin lookup to tell you what options your car came with.
The only options mine had was 3.73lsd and first aid kit/ warning triangle.....wierd (90 325i 4dr)
