    flywheel question

    On a auto transmission there is a spacer and triangle piece of metal In between The flywheel in the engine...Is this the same on a manual flywheel

    No, the triangle piece is not used on a manual flywheel. The spacer or the bolts are not shared iirc.

      So I bolted the fly wheel straight to the crankshaft that was right
      right
      That would be good news

        No, you bolt the flywheel straight to the crankshaft.

        There is a round washer/plate/spacer that goes between the bolts and the flywheel though.

          Sorry for the stupid questions I am just assembling a 5 speed swap and have never seen it taken apart and the fly wheel diagram on realoem is the same from auto to manual

          can I use the thin circular metal plate that was with the auto or should I buy this
