I just bought a flywheel from another member off this forum. He said it was a "I" M20 flywheel. It weighs 25lbs and looks kinda thick. Is this normal weight for this kind of flywheel. Or was he mistaken and its actually a dual mass flywheel? Can anyone help?

I thought 16 as well for the m20b25 flywheel. I thought m42's were 25 pounds.

Really... damn. The guy said that he bought it off another guy on this forum and that it came off of a 323i.... I'm not too familiar with the flywheels for the M20 and M42's.... how different are they? The guy I bought it from guaranteed me it was an M20 flywheel though.... but looking at some of the responses I'm thinking he might be right.
