I'm trying to get all my parts together for a manual swap and I know I'm gonna need that spacer/shim. Do I need to source this or does it exist on the auto version too (remove and reuse)?

I believe the auto spacer is thinner than the manual spacer...or the other way around. Either way you need to source that. Check realoem for the part number. -
