Does anyone have a diagram of the master vs slave as in how the fluid travels through both when the clutch pedal is depressed? I am wondering because I feel if the master had an internal leak then wouldn't the brakes be affected in someway? Aka squisher brake pedal or brake fade etc

Nope its a separate master cylinder from the brake Mc.

Soft hose runs from brake Mc res to clutch Mc hard line from clutch Mc to firewall where it connects to a bracket and to a high pressure rubber hose to the slave

So I don't know if this is now an unnecessary test, but what happens if you pump the pedal a couple of times? Does it build or hold any pressure? Does it hold some pressure, but then it bleeds away? That's how I would test the MC's ability to hold.

It doesn't feel like brake fade or a weak pedal. The pedal sits up top at the same place, springs back and pushes normally. If you ment the clutch pedal that is...

I never noticed any issues with the brake pedal. Ill try it out tomorrow, but sitting at red lights and such never noticed a change in the pedal feel

He's talking about pumping the clutch, not the brakes.

no clue how old the fluid is but it hasnt been replaced since my ownership.

If i pump the clutch 2 quick pumps real quick when it first starts up, then i can get it roughly into 1st. But for the most part i just turn the car off at red lights and set it to 1st, and powershift the rest of the gears lol. Pretty sure its an internal leak unless some moisture got into the car. I am not too worried I just need to waffleswaffleswaffleswaffleswaffles foot it for a few months haha, I just do not really want to be bothered diagnosing and or fixing it with the cold weather, I would have to do it outside and its my only car.
